The Domus Cave Steps combine a 3-step pet staircase with a built-in hideaway, giving small dogs and cats an easy way to reach beds and sofas while providing a private resting spot underneath. The folding design also converts into a storage box when not in use as stairs.
Materials and Structural Design
Built with a reinforced wood-framed structure and covered in a hard-wearing, imitation-linen fabric, these stairs are designed to support small and medium-sized pets. Each of the three steps is fitted with a non-slip base for secure footing on various surfaces, and the compact, staggered step design makes climbing easy for short-legged breeds such as Corgis, as well as older cats and dogs.
2-in-1 Function: Stairs and Cat Cave
The top level is built around an enclosed cave, creating a private resting corner for cats or small pets while the stairs remain fully usable underneath. Pets can freely switch between using the unit as a staircase for bed or sofa access and as a cosy hideaway for rest.
Maintenance and Storage
The imitation-linen cover resists dirt and wear, and the unit can be disassembled for cleaning without needing a large workspace. Thanks to its foldable structure, it can also be collapsed flat for compact storage, or used to store pet toys and small blankets when not set up as stairs.
